Welcome, one and all, and thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you enjoy, and find something of interest among these pages. As to what these pages contain, well, let me explain.

My main love and focus is writing–hence the name–so you’ll be seeing a lot of fun posts, questions, tips, and prompts about all things story and poetry! I’m also an avid reader, so there’s book reviews, recommendations; whatever the wind and inspiration throws my way. In the meantime, I always love to hear from y’all, so feel free to comment, ask questions, give book recommendations, or writing ideas–anything you like!

Time for the bio, I think.

I love chocolate, tea, and of course, writing! I used to hate writing, with a burning passion, and then in 2019, some switch flipped in my brain, and I’ve been obsessed with writing ever since! I’ve been a storyteller and a reader practically since I was born: telling stories every night with my sisters, making up stories with little cards, writing somewhat interesting Ninjago fanfiction. And then, in 2023, I started working on my current sci-fi dystopian WIP series, titled In Control, about a very snarky teen assassin, a flirty arsonist, an angst-y knife throwing dude, and a mysterious seven year old girl. Most of my short stories will stem from that story because I adore that cast about as much as I adore writing, but we may occationally get some other things as well.

Currently, I’m in the process in redrafting In Control for the fourth time, dabbling in poetry, and, of course, blogging!
